Maradona had a complete repertoire of skills, precise with his magical left leg, with passes, short dribbles, precise shots from short and long distances, free kicks, and corner kicks. His first call-up to the Argentine National Team was at the age of seventeen, where he was controversially cut from the 1978 World Cup. Loved and revered as a king in Napoli, he established himself as the team's hero.
